SUMMARY:PhD+ Workshop – Creative Academic Publishing With Robin James
DESCRIPTION:This is an Arts Research Institute (ARI) workshop on creative academic publishing with Robin James. Robin James is an author and former academic\, currently working as Editor of Philosophy\, Literary Theory\, and Music & Sound Studies at Palgrave Macmillan. She will conduct a workshop for junior scholars interested in turning their ideas into a successful book proposal. She will also discuss the details of the publication process\, and how to pitch a project to an editor. This workshop is geared toward graduate students and early career faculty\, and is appropriate for anyone wanting to learn more about academic publishing! \n**Please rsvp to Holly Unruh\, Executive Director\, Arts Research Institute.
