Brian Turner, combat veteran of the Iraq war and award-winning poet, will lead the last discussion of the War Comes Home series in The Forum at Cabrillo College. Mr. Turner will read from his work and interact with the audience discussing veterans returning home from war. Brian has won the Pen Center Best in the West award, Poet’s Prize, and a NY Times Editor’s Choice Award. His appearance is made possible by the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries.
