Dr. Yarimar Bonilla is Associate Professor of Anthropology and Latino/Caribbean Studies at Rutgers University.
Her research focuses on the colonial logics of sovereignty and on questions of race, citizenship, and nation
across the Americas. She is the author of Non-Sovereign Futures: French Caribbean Politics in the Wake of
Disenchantment (2016).
