Christie George is a writer, curator and producer who has beenworking at the intersection of media, technology and social change for more than twenty years — first as a film distributor with Women Make Movies and later as the President of New Media Ventures for a decade. In her creative practice, she is interested in collaborative art, especially work that explores and expands the idea of collective authorship. Christie recently released “The Emergency Was Curiosity,” a book report, exhibition and event series about cultivating individual and collective creative attention. She has a BA from Yale University and an MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford where she was a Skoll Scholar and was awarded the Said Prize. Christie is a proud board member of the Indivisible Project.
