Please join the Tobera Project and Watsonville is in the Heart for a heartfelt conversation and reflection on our recent journey to Pangasinan, Philippines. We will share stories tracing our parents’ migration, reconnecting with long-lost family, and building new connections. Student research assistants funded by Humanities EXPLORE and the The Humanities Institute and our community researchers with the Tobera Project will share about their experiences reconnecting with kin and conducting community-initiated, student-engaged research, archiving, and oral history interviewing.
