In conjunction with Michael Hardt’s lecture on Friday October 27, we will hold an informal reading seminar for faculty and graduate students on Wednesday October 25 from 5-7pm (Humanities 1, Room 210) to discuss excerpts from Assembly (Oxford, 2017). Please email sjetha@ucsc.edu for a PDF of the reading (Ch. 1-3, 5, 14-15; though you are welcome to read more of the book if you can). Please note that Hardt himself will not be there; this is simply an occasion to discuss his and Negri’s work in anticipation of his talk.
