Radhika Govindrajan – Labors of Love: On the Ethics and Politics of Attachment in India’s Central Himalayas

Radhika Govindrajan is Associate Professor Anthropology at University of Washington, Seattle. She is a cultural anthropologist who works across the fields of multispecies ethnography, environmental anthropology, the anthropology of religion, South Asian Studies, and political anthropology. Her award-winning book Animal Intimacies is an ethnography of multispecies relatedness in the Central Himalayan state of Uttarakhand in India.
