Jennifer Morton: Moving Up Without Losing Your Way

On January 25, 2023, the Humanities Institute was delighted to welcome Professor Jennifer Morton for the event, “Moving Up Without Losing Your Way.” The conversation explored Professor Morton’s book, Moving Up Without Losing Your Way: The Ethical Costs of Upward Mobility, and focused on issues related to community and identity for students in higher education.

Professor Morton spoke in conversation with Jody Green, Assistant Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, Founding Director of the Center for Innovations in Teaching and Learning and professor in the Literature Department.
