The Institute for Humanities Research is pleased to announce that Jorge Hankamer, Professor of Linguistic and Interim Director, Institute for Humanities Research is the 2011 recipient of the John Dizikes Teaching Award in Humanities. Both students and colleagues alike offered high praise regarding Jorge’s teaching skills and the positive impact he has had on students over the years.
John Dizikes will be on hand to present the award to Jorge and will join Humanities faculty, staff, and students in honoring our other Humanities affiliates receiving recognition during our “Celebrating the Humanities” Spring Awards Event.
