Distinguished Professor Nirvikar Singh has been reappointed “Sarbjit Aurora Endowed Chair in Sikh and Punjabi Studies” from July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2020 in recognition of the excellence Nirvikar’s scholarship and teaching and proposed activities for the program.
The Sarbjit Aurora Endowed Chair in Sikh and Punjabi Studies was established for the purpose of supporting research and teaching pertaining to the global Sikh community in the context of multiculturalism and globalization.
