Summer Research Fellowships

Share

The Institute for Humanities Research is able to offer two graduate research fellowships of $2,000 each for summer research and research-related travel. The work should be conducted during the summer of 2010.

Applicants should be current graduate students in good standing in one of the graduate programs in the Humanities division. Interested students should submit a brief (one to two pages) description of the proposed research and a simple budget; an even briefer letter of support from the faculty advisor should be sent to the IHR separately. These statements should address why the research is important, and how it will contribute to the student’s progress toward the degree.

Applications are due May 21, 2010.

Awards will be announced by June 15, 2009.

Submissions (and support letters) should be emailed to ihr@ucsc.edu as PDF files.
