Karen deVries "Queer Storytelling, Secular Religion, and the Anthropocene Blues"
April 15, 2015 @ 12:15 pm - 2:00 pm| Humanities 1, Room 210 | Free
Working at the intersection of religion, science, and feminist studies, Karen deVries examines structures of knowledge and power in the Contemporary American West. Her current book project deploys queer storytelling both to explore tensions and schisms between religious and secular knowledge formations and to produce more livable futures.
Karen deVries is a Lecturer in the Political Science Department at Montana State University in Bozeman.
