UC Santa Cruz alumna, Reyna Grande, will discuss her new memoir, A Dream Called Home, in conversation with Micah Perks, UC Santa Cruz Literature Professor.

A DREAM CALLED HOME is Grande’s lyrical and moving follow-up to The Distance Between Us. This memoir tells the story of her pursuit to become the first in her family to earn a college degree at UC Santa Cruz and become an award-winning and bestselling author. Grande shares an inspiring, personal account of what it means to find a home and place of belonging in America as a undocumented, first-generation Latina.
