Whether you are a novice or an expert, a technophobe or an early adopter, this interactive talk will discuss the dos and don’ts, tips, strategies, common mistakes, and ways you can make the most out of social media in academia.

Melissa De Witte handles the digital and social media for the Division of Social Sciences here at UC Santa Cruz. She has an MA in Media, Culture and Communication from New York University.
